Two teams from Gosforth Harriers made the journey to Sutton Park, Birmingham, to compete in the prestigious ERRA National Road Relays, and they returned with performances to be hugely proud of.
Our Under 16 Boys produced a magnificent display to secure an incredible National Bronze Medal, finishing on the podium against some of the strongest clubs and athletes in the country. It was a fantastic achievement and a testament to their determination, teamwork and racing spirit.
Not to be outdone, our Under 14 Girls absolutely smashed expectations with a superb team performance, finishing an outstanding 6th place nationally. Competing at this level is a huge achievement in itself, and the girls rose brilliantly to the occasion.
We are immensely proud of every athlete who pulled on the Gosforth vest. The commitment, teamwork and belief they have shown is really shining through, and these results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work being put in week after week.
The future is looking incredibly bright, and with attitudes like these, there is so much more to come.
Congratulations to all our athletes, coaches and supporters on a fantastic day for Gosforth Harriers.
