
Amazing Performances at the Jarrow 10K

The conditions could not have been better for today’s Jarrow 10K, with the flat, fast course starting and finishing at Monkton Stadium setting the stage for some outstanding Harrier performances. The green and white hoops made their presence felt across both the A and B races, with personal bests, category podiums, and debut runs to celebrate.
🏅 Standout Performances
- Chris Williams – 17th overall and 2nd V35 in the B race, smashing his PB with a superb 39:56.
- Jenny Graham – 3rd V45 in the B race, also breaking her PB with a brilliant 44:09.
- Andy Heppell – 2nd V45 in the A race, finishing 29th overall in an incredible 33:16.
🌟 Strong Runs Across the Field
It wasn’t just about the podiums—there were strong performances right through the squad:
- Maurice Bourke – 35:12
- Ben Inglis – 36:34
- Lewis Proud – 38:22
- Nick Watt – making his 10K debut for the club, crossing the line in 57:51.
