Hosted by the Gosforth Harriers, this flagship event lands on Sunday 2nd August 2026, bringing runners from across the North East to Great Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, for an unforgettable day of fast, friendly, competitive relay racing.

📍 Event HQ: Great Park Community Centre
Teams will gather at the community centre before making the short walk to the start/finish area. This year’s race once again features the popular route introduced in 2025 — a fast, flowing course that proved a hit with runners of all abilities. Whether you’re chasing a sharp leg split, racing for club pride, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, the Summer Relays promise a brilliant day out in the heart of our community.
