Good Friday Relays 2026 – Gosforth Harriers Kick Off Easter in Style

A long-standing North East favourite, the Elswick Harriers Good Friday Relays once again delivered a brilliant morning of fast, competitive racing at Newburn Riverside Business Park. With its sharp, approx. 2.2‑mile loop and buzzing atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to launch the Easter weekend — and our athletes turned up ready to race.
Gosforth Harriers fielded a fantastic mix of senior and veteran teams across both the women’s and men’s events, with strong performances, standout individual runs, and plenty of team spirit on display.
