🏅 Gosforth Harriers Medal Monday Spotlight! 🏅

This week, we’re thrilled to highlight an incredible achievement by one of our very own Harriers, Georgie, who tackled the Reading Half Marathon with determination and grit. Crossing the finish line in an impressive time of 1:43:38, Georgie not only matched her personal best but also showcased the resilience and spirit we all admire.

Reflecting on her experience, Georgie shared: “Reading Half Marathon: 1:43:38 Did I finish the race, or did the race finish me? Really struggled through today but matched my half PB. Thanks to everyone who picked my name out the pack to cheer and to the friends and family spotted en route! And as ever to pack mule and cheerleader Tom.”

We’re so proud of Georgie for pushing through a challenging race and continuing to inspire us with her determination. A huge thank you to her support crew, including the ever-reliable Tom, for providing encouragement and a helping hand.
